Attempts to break the record of the fastest land vehicles have occurred since 1896. In the French-made cars Jentaud Duc successfully accelerated up to 63.5 miles per hour. Records the world's fastest vehicles are now held by the Thrust SSC. Thrust 1227 kilometers per hour speed record in 1997. Now another jet engine-powered vehicles and rocket built to break records this year aged 17. Bloodhound Super Sonic Car made in Britain will try to reach 1600 kilometers per hour. Records will try to split 39 days from now. Jet and rocket powered car is powered by a Rolls Royce jet engine 135 000 horsepower. This is equivalent to the power of 120 Formula 1 car.
